Challenge
As a publicly listed company and group, we have a constant need to become more data-driven and conduct more advanced analyses of our financial and operational figures. We considered investing in our own BI solution, but it turned out to be a much more costly and time-consuming process than using Exopen. By using Exopen as a data visualization provider, we could get started right away.
Solution
We found that Exopen could deliver a unique combination of BI, Self-Service, and flexibility, but without the expensive implementation cost we would have incurred if we invested in our own solution. Additionally, Exopen had a quick onboarding process and was based on Power BI – a tool we were already familiar with. We decided to try Exopen during a short trial period, and after that, we determined that this was the solution for us.
Result
The organization-specific needs we had could be quickly addressed with Exopen's customized analysis views, and they helped us roll out the views in the organization securely. Additionally, we received assistance with data quality issues we didn't know we had, thanks to Exopen's data analysis. In the end, we have obtained a powerful tool for financial analysis that provides value every day, and where we see great potential ahead. Our organization now gets a comprehensive view of reality, enabling us to create forward-looking guidance through our new data-driven insights in Power BI.
