A solution to the error message: You can't update without Security functions!
This is an error you get when you aren't using the security function ExoProtect in your Exopen Report Workbook.
There's two solutions to this, either you add the function to the report or you decide not to use the function and turn it off.
Turning the security function off has to be done in different ways depending on what mode you work in.
If you work locally without logging in to a System Database you have to do the following:
1. Enter Local Admin Mode
2. Click settings and check "Ignore ExoProtect"
If you work in a logged in mode and use a System Database this is is a per user setting administered by a user with the Admin Role. Ask your admin to do the following:
1. Log in with an account with the Admin Role.
2. Enter the User settings.
3. Choose the user you want to edit and check the "Ignore Exoprotect"-box.
